Sunday May 7, 2023. At the opening of an art exhibition by Gwendolyn van der Velden

Sunday May 7, 2023. I had a nice motorbike ride to the city of Breda in the southern part of the Netherlands. I visited the opening of an Art exhibition by Dutch artist Gwendolyn van der Velden. She is Dutch but lives in Lisbon in Portugal. She makes watercolor paintings in a sort of Impressionist style with soft pastel colors. She also made a watercolor portrait of me and it hung in between all the other portraits. I was also invited as a panel member or panelist to talk about former Dutch New-Guinea. It was a nice ride and a nice day!
