I acted as model and subject for a portrait painted by artist Gwendolyn van der Velden. She is a Dutch artist living in Lisbon in Portugal. She is now in the Netherlands to make a series of watercolor portraits that will be exhibited in a museum in Breda in May. She made the first sketches with watercolor paint, which she will paint later in detail based on photos, which she also made of me during the session. And also by how she remembered me during the painting session. The painting session was also filmed. The art event is organized by the Arjati Foundation from Breda. I also played one of my own songs. I am curious about the end result. Nice to see my portrait as a watercolor painting hanging in a museum later in this year 2023.
