Peeking at the neighbors event at Hilversum July 3rd, 2022

Peeking at the neighbors. That’s the name of the music event I participated in yesterday. It is an intimate music event where artists and musicians give living room concerts in people’s homes. It’s all small, intimate and cozy. You do 3 mini concerts in one afternoon. Or in my case in the garden of a very nice man named Andre Uijlenhoed. It is a national event that takes place simultaneously in dozens of municipalities in dozens of living rooms. People can then choose which living rooms and which artists and musicians they visit. Because people don’t know you, you have to try twice as hard to win over the audience for your music. Judging by the reactions I got from people, I succeeded.
